At her show in Melbourne, Lady Gaga had a special treat for her Aussie fans: a new song, Lady Die. Lady Gaga explained to a stadium of fans that she wasn’t sure if she was going to sing it but she saw a tiara thrown up onstage and took that as a sign to do so. Gaga hadn’t performed this song ever before so this video from one of the attendees is an exclusive journey into the mind of Gaga, as she explained, “This song is a little bit sad,” Gaga began. “It’s in no way reflective of the rest of music on the album, but it’s about some of the most deep and personal thoughts I’ve ever had.”
At first listen, we were taken aback by the strength and intimate story telling of Lady Die. It isn’t Poker Face and it isn’t Marry The Night, it is simply a beautiful song that we hope does make Lady Gaga’s highly anticipated third studio album.
