Lady Gaga shares struggle with eating disorder

Lady Gaga is the latest celebrity to bravely step forward and share her struggle with an eating disorder. Gaga posted three photos on her Little Monsters website showing the singer in a yellow bra and panty set, putting her body on display. To help support others suffering with body image issues, Gaga has created a section on her website called Body Revolution that aims to work as a support destination.

Much has been made in the media recently about Gaga’s weight gain, with pictures of the singer on tour showing a slight weight gain on her normally extremely thin body.

Says Gaga, “My mother and I created the BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION for one reason: “to inspire bravery.” This profile is an extension of that dream. Be brave and celebrate with us your “perceived flaws,” as society tells us. May we make our flaws famous, and thus redefine the heinous.” The singer is encouraging her fans to post pictures of themselves on the page in an effort to help people overcome their securities.
