Lady Gaga to possibly record James Bond theme

Gaga. Lady Gaga. The artist is in the running to record the theme song for the 23rd (dang!) installment in the James Bond movie franchise. Amy Winehouse and Michael Buble are also submitting theme songs for consideration. Daniel Craig is set to star as Bond for the third time, while the female lead has yet to be cast.

If chosen, Gaga will be following in the footsteps of Madonna and Paul McCartney, who have recorded their own theme songs for past Bond films. They’re both kinda popular, so I’m sure it’ll be good for her career.
