Lauren Conrad has adopted a rescue puppy

Former Hills star Lauren Conrad went to an animal shelter to see some adorable dogs this weekend, but ended up taking one home. Conrad adopted a rescue dog, four-year-old Chloe, after she bonded with him.

Sharing a picture of the pooch, who she has named Fitz, on Instagram, Lauren wrote “Never go to the animal shelter ‘just to look,’. It never ends that way (sic).” Posting several more photographs of the latest addition to her family, Lauren added “All I want to do is take pictures of this little cutie.”

Despite her busy career as a designer and author, Lauren will have plenty of time to spend with her dogs as she recently revealed she loves nothing more than a night in at home knitting. She said “I make scarves for everybody, it’s like a new addiction of mine. All I know how to do is make a scarf, but I really enjoy knitting so I can’t like give those things away. I keep making people wear them and nobody even really wants them anymore.”
