Alright, we’ve neglected giving you blogs from the coast for a while. I have no excuse as to why. Perhaps just nothing mega exciting has been happening? That is until yesterday, June 2, 2008…

Nardwuar and I went to go do interviews with N.E.R.D. They were in town for the Glow In The Dark Tour with Kanye and were the only act doing any in-person press. I was so excited to meet Pharrell. There’s no point in trying to act cool right now. I love Pharrell. He is dreamy J haha.

Anyway, that’s not what I wanted to tell you. What happened that was incredible was Nardwuar’s interview. He was blowing Pharrell’s mind. Which I imagine is not an easy task. He seems hard to impress. But Pharrell was paralyzed and speechless by what Nardwuar knew about him and N.E.R.D. Pharrell was tripping out. He thought Nard was like a psychic or something. Umm no, he’s just the best. So during the interview he was so blown away he said that they were going to put Nardwuar in their next music video! And he was looking to Shay and chatting about the idea like they already knew exactly what part of the next video he would fit into. I think they are dead serious too. They’re not messing around. This opportunity would be incredible for Nardwuar. I’m so stoked! And for the record, off camera, Pharrell said we could come down and shoot on set. F@#&$? crazy!
