Whether she’s an hour or three hours late, it doesn’t seem to matter when it comes to a Lauryn Hill performance. Fans might boo, but you know none of them actually leave out of protest. That’s the type of respect she’s built in her career.
Having previously played Toronto and Montreal in January, Ms. Hill will head back into Canada at the end of May to showcase “her classics, reworked yet faithful to the rigor, soulfulness and power of the original music from her iconic and groundbreaking solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.”
Lauryn’s Moving Target tour will hit up Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom on May 24th and Winnipeg’s Centennial Concert Hall on May 30th. As always, if you’re attending either of these shows take your time – punctuality is not her strong suit.
