Leah: Lay Off Jessica Simpson

I feel bad for people who are famous sometimes.. I know, I know - you’re probably thinking, “but they’re rich & famous, & they have everything - why would you feel bad for them?”
Well.. they’re constantly being scrutinized - for what they look like, who they’re dating.. every move they make.
Today I feel bad for Jessica Simpson. The past couple of days, some blogs have been saying that she’s fat.
She is not fat! Maybe she’s gained a couple of pounds, but big deal! I think every girl out there fluctuates in weight.. I know I do. (Especially over the holidays!! haha!) I’d rather eat & enjoy myself, rather than starve myself to be a size 0. Life is short & it’s just not worth it!
I don’t know how they handle it.

Andrea, you are totally right. 90% of the time it is WOMEN dissing other women - I didn’t really notice that until now. Men aren’t as harsh of judges as we are about each other. I am so sick of this rampant dissing of people’s appearance and so closely following rumoured celebrity baby bumps the moment someone gains 5 pounds or overeats at the holidays. WHO CARES. I’d like to see photos of some of the catty bithces that are criticizing Jessica in the first place.

Ugh…I am so sick of women dissing women. The media sets us up to hate each other and we fall right into the trap. Jessica Simpson looks happy and healthy in those pictures….what else matters? Everyday, I see women dissed on websites and in magazines because they are wearing the wrong clothes or the wrong make-up or they are too fat or too skinny, their boobs are too small or too big and fake, their lips are too small or too puffy from injections…blah blah blah!! And, if you look closely the people doing the hating are other women…What gives?? If your not 100 percent perfect your dissed and if you get plastic surgery too try to make yourself perfect your dissed…basically, you just can’t win so just be who you are. Screw the haters!! I would bet a million dollars that you could show those pictures to a hundred men and 99% would say she looks hot…but if you showed it too a hundred women they would say she looks fat and ugly. The real question is whats wrong with us?
