Leah: My Top 3 Movies Of 2008!

So…if you’re thinking about going to a movie this weekend & don’t know what to see, here are my top 3 picks:

Milk. Such a brilliant move - it’s a true story about Harvey Milk (Sean Penn), who was an American politician and the first openly gay man to be elected into public office in California. Sean Penn is unbelievable in this movie. I really hope he wins an Oscar for his performance (I think he deserves it over Mickey Rourke). James Franco, who plays his boyfriend/partner is great as well. Their chemistry together is so pure & beautiful.

Slumdog Millionaire. Such a well-written film! I haven’t seen storytelling quite like this in a long time. The child actors in this film are the sweetest things ever. Two of them were actually found in the slums, they aren’t actors.

The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button. I loved this movie. Cate Blanchett & Brad Pitt are phenomenal. It’s a real magical film, with a beautiful love story. And Brad Pitt is GORGEOUS.
