Leona Lewis Bleeds Fashion No-No’s

Leona Lewis debuted a couple of bold looks this week. And well, we’re not sure what to think. The singer showed up at the premiere of Justin Bieber’s movie “Never Say Never” Tuesday wearing a revealing dress that had a huge set of lips pasted right across her chest. Next, she went to an Essence Magazine event last night sporting a similar dress, this time with a big bow over her chest.

Lewis has never struck us as a fashion icon but we have loved her simple and laidback-glam style (remember how hot and amazing she looked in the “I Will Be” video alongside Chace Crawford?) We’re not sure if her latest fashion risks have paid off. We totally appreciate the effort but somehow we feel like these types of dresses are better suited for more aggressive acts like Lady Gaga or Natalia Kills. With Lewis, it just doesn’t quite add up.
