Leona Lewis punched at book signing

Leona Lewis was assaulted this afternoon by a man in London, England while signing copies of her upcoming autobiography, Dreams.

Earlier on, the British singer was captured entering the London bookstore where the incident took place.

According to a BBC report, Lewis was in the middle of signing her attacker’s copy of the book when he punched her in the side of the head. He was arrested and the event was stopped immediately.

While Lewis was reportedly badly shaken, she did not require hospital treatment.
