Let The Right Movie In

November 3rd, 2008

I’m a weird horror movie fan. I knows what I likes and I knows what I don’t likes, and sometimes it doesn’t even make sense. I don’t like gore, but I love zombie movies (occasionally viewed through cracked fingers). Saw franchise? No thanks (torture porn is not my bag). Classics like The Shining? Yes please. And always open to anything brilliant - like the flick I saw yesterday.

My friend told me about this romantic Swedish horror movie that I had to see. Romantic? Horror? Sweet? *Perplexed* I went almost immediately and l-o-v-e-d it. I recommend watching it without reading any background info, like I did. Forget the ‘Haunting of Molly Something Something’, you guys … go check this out if it’s playing near you.

PS: Cloverfield director Matt Reeves is planning to do a remake, but why ruin a good thing?

  1. Damn that does look good! I am not a fan of subtitles, but still, it looks creepy!

  2. @Khris: sometimes subtitles are worth it :) But honestly, even with the subtitles, there’s not a lot of reading involved … not that I remember, anyway - but maybe I was just so wrapped up in it!
