You may or may not be downloading the Nothing Was the Same leak right now and spending your entire Monday obsessively listening to the new Drake album, which comes out next Tuesday, September 24th. We ain’t judging. We may or may not be doing the same. MAYBE.
But, before the Internet exploded with news of leaks last night, the Toronto rapper appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Friday night to sit down, talk about his new album, rap a little and then play a game of charades with the talk show host and Scarlett Johansson. Y’know, just a typical day in the life of Aubrey Graham.
Let’s start with the interview: Drake hits on ScarJo (because who wouldn’t), talks about his NWTS album cover, his Grammy win and his upcoming tour. On a scale from 1 to 10, how badly do we want to be Drake’s BFF after watching this clip: 8.
Performance: Drake premieres a new song, Too Much, prefaces it with a loving message to his friends and family and then proceeds to blow our minds with said performance. On a scale from 1 to 10, how badly do we want to be Drake’s BFF after watching this clip: 6 (I mean, we love it, but our friendship would have to be more than just him rapping at us; it’s about having a proper conversation, right?).
Game of charades: Drake and Fallon team up against Scarlett Johansson and Tariq from The Roots in a fun game of charades. Drake proves to be pretty good at it. On a scale from 1 to 10, how badly do we want to be Drake’s BFF after watching this clip: 20.Tweet
