Liam Gallagher seems to have forgotten all about his old band, Oasis. I guess it’s pretty easy to do that when you recruit the guitarist (Gem Archer) and bassist (Andy Bell) and basically start a new band that sounds, if we’re being brutally honest here, exactly like your old band without the Noel-ly lyrics.
While it all seems to be a bit of a whirlwind, it’s pretty impressive that Beady Eye, as the band is called, have already recorded a debut album set for release on March 1st. Titled Different Gear, Still Speeding, the 13-track album was produced by Steve Lillywhite (Morrissey, U2) and features first single “Bring the Light” as well as the brand new single, “The Roller” (watch it below).
According to a press release, Beady Eye are currently nailing down North American tour dates, which will be announced shortly.
