Liam Hemsworth is a favourite across generations of Cyrus women. When Miley first met her boyfriend Liam on the set of their movie The Last Song, her mom Tish Cyrus, the executive producer, also was mad crushin’. “I don’t know who had a bigger crush on him at the beginning, my mom or me,” Miley told Entertainment Tonight.

When Miley had doubts about Liam, her mom was the one who convinced her to go for it. “I was like, ‘No, maybe he’s just too pretty. I don’t want to be with someone who’s better looking than me. That’s, like, awkward,’” Miley said. “My mom was like, ‘No, he is cute.’”

Liam also piped in and it turns out that Miley’s grandma was standing by for Miley and Liam’s on screen kiss. “Her grandma was also watching, which was really funny. [Her grandma] was on set everyday and she’d be right at the monitor with the headphones on,” he said.
