“Liz Rambles” or “My week in a nutshell”
Okay, I’m back. Yes, I apologize for my disappearing act from the blogosphere but hey, things are CRAZY busy at work and let’s face it, when you’re the new kid on the block, there is a lot to know! Most importantly I’m ready to fill your ears (or I guess “eyes”) with tons of little tid bits on the wonderful world of LT.

Last week: FIRST WEEK LIVE
Holy batman, I made it through my first two weeks live. I’m not going to lie, the second that red light flashes, my heart starts to pound. I will give you a secret: there is a little army man on top of the camera that I focus on when I am talking so I don’t get psyched out! See below:

hey, soldier

How did that army man get there? Well Mister Jesse Giddings, a fellow newbie in the Much environment, got the same jitters I did so one of the camera men stuck that little plastic guy on top of the camera so both of us could focus. GENIUS!

You all are amazing getting back to my Twitter page, and we’ll be chatting back and forth for sure. I am a tweet-a-holic. Haha.

In my first week I got to film two fashion edits (they will air during February) and an on-set with Emily Osment for her new music video. Note to self: dress appropriately for on sets. Without giving you too much information, Emily Osment’s video was filmed in a place with a major lack of heat therefore 13 hours later, I was quite a cold little one.

Beyond all of that fun, this job rules. Everyone here is young, hip and every morning the first thing I do is search music blogs and gossip websites to check out the latest action on the day. It’s safe to say I love life and this chaotic lifestyle is definitely suiting me well.

Things I’ve learned in my first few weeks:
• Never leave computer unlocked
• Bring lots of shoes, fashion over function haha
• How to be a morning person (I’m a night hawk)
• How to not stare out the window all day. I love people watching and my desk is key for doing so.
• The café inside this building makes the best paninis and soups!

That’s it for now. Over & Out.
Until next time – One Love,
LT

Side note: Still not used to our fishbowl environment. If you are unaware of I am talking about, you will be interested to know that MuchMusic has glass walls for all those on the street passing by to see what’s going on in here. So in other words, they can watch me go on Facebook, Twitter, Blogging (someone is looking in right now as I write this!) It’s great.
