Lights Reveals Her Top 5

Lights recently revealed her top 5 favourite albums of 2009 to Chartattack.com and gave reasons for each choice.

The singer’s indie-centric list is as follows:

1. YEAH YEAH YEAHS – It’s Blitz
2. ANIMAL COLLECTIVE – Merriweather Post Pavilion
3. PHOENIX -Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix
4. FRIENDLY FIRES – Friendly Fires
5. ARCHITECTS – Hollow Crown


It’s a solid list for sure, but it looks like Lights forgot that crunkcore pioneer band Brokencyde’s groundbreaking I’m Not a Fan… But the Kids Like It! album also came out this year. We forgive the omission.
