likes? This weekend was full of likes for me! I had one of those ‘man, I love music’ weekends…you know, when you crank it up and run around your house telling your roomates ‘dude, listen to this song…can you even believe how good this album is?’ or when you’re watching a band and you look at your buddy beside you with a smile like ‘awwwww yeah’ cuz it’s rockin’ so hard that even your pants are vibrating. Who’s with me here? Hmmm…maybe I should explain..

Friday I went to see my buddy’s band The Getaway play with Jersey (punkimified and lintpunk…otherwise known as Lindsay and Steph…were there rockin’ and gawking). On Saturday night I rocked the …Trail Of Dead and Queens Of The Stone Age show. This was the third time I’ve gone to see …Trail, and each time I say to myself ‘I really wanna like this band’…and each time, well I just can’t get totally into it. This time round I liked them the most tho. QOTSA totally blew me away tho. Their live show is so rad and the lighting looked amazing (despite my bias). If you ever have the opportunity to go see this band…go…but not for me…for yourself.

To round up my list of ‘man I love music’ likes for the weekend, here are some more things i’m ‘in like’ with.

Sparta-Wiretrap Scars (they are coming back to The ‘ronto in October…I can’t wait to see them live again!)

Hot Water Music-Caution (okay, this album doesn’t come out until early October…but they sent a stream of it with the Epitaph newsletter…and I can’t stop listening)

Scott and Pat from =W= on ‘loveline‘ (this took all weekend to download…and boy is it funny…and weird)
