Lil’ Wayne doc coming to DVD

A documentary Lil’ Wayne tried to have blocked will be released on DVD next week. The film, called The Carter follows Weezy on stage and off and reportedly chronicles his addiction to cough syrup.

The rapper filed a lawsuit against producers claiming they broke a contract giving him editorial control over the doc but his claim was denied.

The Carter hits stores November 17th.
