Lily Allen is launching her own record label.

Having recently given up making music and the internet, Allen told reporters at the Q Awards in London, England last night that she’s planning to start releasing other people’s music.

“I love working in music. I like to help other bands and stuff so I’m thinking about - well we’re in talks about setting up my own label and dedicating the next couple of years to that.”

As for singing, Allen said she’s now unsure of the future.

“I don’t know really, I just feel like maybe having a bit of a time for a break from doing that and do something else for a while.

Allen took home the Best Track award for her song “The Fear,” which is a sign that she’s doing something right as a singer.

  1. I’m going to miss Lily Allen and her music. I guess it’s her life and I think it’s great she’s going out in the world, trying new things and living a good life. Congrats to her for launching her own record label. :)

  2. She’s very talented and i must say once you have a deep love for something its not easy to give up, she’s doing something most people do by taking a break but i’m sure she’ll continue to sing
