Lindsay Lohan to drop her last name

In today’s edition of ‘Really?’ celebrity news, Lindsay Lohan has decided to drop her last name. The troubled actress and sometime singer’s mother, Dina Lohan, has reportedly told PopEater.com: “Lindsay is dropping the Lohan and [is] just going by Lindsay. Plus, me and Ali will be officially changing our last names back to my maiden name, Sullivan.”

Lindsay’s decision stems partly from her $100 million suit against E-Trade after the company aired a commercial during the Super Bowl which depicted a baby named Lindsay as a ‘milkaholic’. Additionally, Lindsay also wants to drop her last name in an attempt to distance herself from her troubled father, Michael Lohan.

I get changing your last name, but dropping it completely? Lindsay is a pretty common name. The whole thing seems a bit…dramatic.
