Linkin Park are keeping things in the family with their first single Burn It Down off the band’s fifth studio album, Living Things. The song was produced by Rick Rubin and Linkin Park vocalist Mike Shinoda, with the band’s turntablist Joe Hahn stepping behind the camera to direct the syfy inspired music video.
Heavily relying on special effects to create a futuristic setting for the performance video, the build in the song’s tempo is matched by the special effects, which shows the band members bursting into flames during the climax of the song.
Linkin Park have been busy promoting their upcoming album, performing Burn It Down on the 2012 Billboard Music Awards (watch here).
