Listen To Adam Levine Make ‘Sesame Street’ And ‘Muffin Man’ Sound Cool

September 3rd, 2014

Adam Levine on Jimmy

Adam Levine appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week to one, talk about Gwen Stefani’s now famous Emmy flub (Colbert = Cold Bear, not Cold Bort) and to play a game. Natch. I’m sure he also mentioned that Maroon 5’s new album V dropped this week. It was probably in there somewhere.

The interview kicked off with Jimmy thanking Levine, who was presenting with his The Voice co-star Stefani at The Emmys, since the pronounciation guffaw gave way to Fallon creating a hilarious moment during the show. We also learned that Levine credits Fallon, or more specifically The Roots, with helping to score his gig on The Voice. Who knew?

Next was game time, and no one knows how to play to his guests strengths more than Jimmy Fallon. While the former SNL actor has consistently impressed us over the years with his spot-on musical impersonations, we couldn’t believe how freaking good Adam Levine was as well. Michael Jackson singing Sesame Street? Eddie Vedder as the Muffin Man? Who knew lullabies could sound so cool?

Watch The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon weekdays at 3E/12P on Much.
