Formally the front man for Moist, David Usher has been a mainstay of Canadian music for many years and his eighth album, Songs from the Last Day on Earth, is a testament to that. In an interview with the St. Catherines Standard, Usher talked about his album which centres around a single theme: the end of the world. David’s favourite song on the album was Lonely People. David shared, “[Lonely People] in a way summarizes the theme of the record in that it’s connected to the ideas of living the life you want to live while you’ve got it and how we are all connected and very disconnected,” Usher explained. “You’re born alone and die alone… and you don’t know if any of the things in your life had meaning.”
Favourite tracks: Rice Paper, City Of Light

Listen to David Usher’s Songs from the Last Day on Earth on MuchMusic.com‘s First Spin section as well as other albums from Lindi Ortega, The Chevin, and Three Days Grace.
