Listen to Jesse Labelle’s new album, Two on First Spins now!

It’s pretty evident that Jesse Labelle is a romantic. The Canadian singer-songwriter’s new album, Two, is a concept record of sorts and the common factor on each track is all about love. As Labelle describes the album, “It’s the whole idea of two hearts as one.”

Two is filed to the brim with catchy, infectious pop melodies that merit spots up there alongside Maroon 5, Jason Mraz and Gym Class Heroes. Two veers between stripped-down numbers like the ballad, Kryptonite, to energetic pop anthems washed in glossy synths and pounding beats, like Moment That We Stop.

Labelle has clearly grown leaps and bounds between his last record, Perfect Accident, and Two, but this just feels the beginning. With each album, Labelle is bound to continue growing and developing his songwriting skills – all while capturing your heart, one track at a time.
