It may be winter in Canada but things are just about to burst into spring with the new album by Boy, our newest girl crush duo from Germany and Switzerland. Boy is Valeska Steiner and bassist Sonja Glass and they founded the group in 2007 after they met at a music clinic in 2005. They sound a lot like our home girl Feist, but their sound is a little more European in sensibility and a little less delicate and fragile but all the while still plinky and fun. If you ever need an album to accompany you through a road trip in the country side, this record should definitely make your playlist.
