It’s time for another installment of “Listen To These Guys Or Else” (LTTGOE)!

Do not soil yourselves, people – the three bands that I’m about to write about are going on tour – TOGETHER! (via Chromewaves)

Geoff has already listed Menomena as a reason 2007 is going to be great over at The NewMusic blog, but I’m gonna shove this band a little farther down your throat. Peep their zany “Internet Place” here.

Land Of Talk really solidify the tour lineup – these Montrealers have been making waves for the past six months and everybody wants a piece. I listed “Applause Cheer Boo Hiss” on my top 10 of 2006 and if you had half a brain, you would have too. Go have a listen now.

I don’t know *that* much about Field Music yet (I feel like 2007 might be a ‘field day’ [DAD JOKE ALERT!] for bands with the word field in them – Field Music, Fields, Airfields, etc). Wikipedia describes them as “Wire produced by The Beach Boys.” Nice!
