‘Live At Shea Stadium’ offers free live sets from Real Estate, King Krule, Trash Talk & more

Here’s an idea if you’re a concert venue: make friends with the band, ask the band if you can record some of their set, and then ask if you can post it as a free stream on your website. Might seem like a long-shot, but that’s exactly what Brooklyn’s Shea Stadium did. Advertised as a “recording studio/all ages showspace dedicated to documenting live performances,” the club has made available songs and sets from nearly all of the shows it’s hosted. This means you can grab free live tracks from the likes of Real Estate, King Krule, Trash Talk, Coasting, Fresh & Onlys, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Bleached, No Joy, Friends, Main Attrakionz, Liturgy, The Men, and many others.
