Live Blogging The New Nas Album

Every Nas album that drops is an event. So I decided to listen to the new album Untitled and live blog the experience. I put in the CD and was all set until Nas started rapping – the album really is way too deep to live blog. The second I started thinking about what I was typing, I missed a hundred thoughts. Soooo, I can’t do it.

But honestly, if you ever once thought maybe you like music, than you should buy this album. Don’t download it or borrow it, buy it. Nas is normally a really smart guy but sometimes people question his focus, because he can go all over the place with his thoughts. But this time he sounds angry, smart, focused, dedicated and as sharp as I’ve ever heard him (and that is a huge statement at this point is his 15 years of music). Kanye was right when he called Nas “the greatest rapper of all time” (and he’s friends with Common and Jay-Z, so you know that was difficult for him to say).
