Live Earth NY: John Mayer!

Omg! John Mayer is in sound check and is amazing! He’s doing his stand up schtick and is making the on lookers howl. Right now he’s rehearsing “waiting on the world to change”, sounds awesome. Make sure you check it out live tomorrow.

The stage rotates which is so cool! It helps to load the next act’s equipment while the others are performing. Dave Matthews Band is on deck to reherse as I write. Horns, keyboards and drums will fill the stadium. The jam band knows how to throw it down…oh, I hear fiddle. Should make for a great performance. If you can see the backdrop of the stage, it’s a bunch of old tires strung together in a map of the earth in red. The weather here is beautiful…hopefully will keep for tomorrow.

On another note, Al Gore spoke in a press conference for a new green house gass bill and sent a few shivers down my spine. It was like an Inconvenient Truth reenacted live in front of my eyes. We’re up live at 9 tonight and we’re all pretty stoked.
