UPDATE ON WRISTBAND GIVEAWAY!!!!!

fob-litl-oct-10.jpg

Last time FOB played the lot … MMVA 2006

Parking lots can be used for many things, if you use your imagination. Some examples:

- Rendez-vous locations
- Serious dance-offs
- Hot air balloon landings (space permitting)
- Car donuts in the snow
- And many more!

Our parking lot is an elite class lot, because it’s been used for such things as MMVAs, tree tossing and limo drop-offs (not to toot our own horn, even though horn tooting happens frequently in the parking lot). Where is this going? Oh, yes. The most exciting parking lot usage of all October…

Fall Out Boy. Live. In the lot. Our lot. I suppose that’s why it’s been deemed Live In The Lot: Fall Out Boy.

FOB will take over the parking lot for a solid hour on October 28 at 7pm ET - no interviews, no gimmicks, just pure air-spinning performance. For all you “where can I sign up” fans out there, be here by noon on October 25, cause that’s when we’re giving out wristbands - one per person, and you must be at least 14! That means you cannot get a wristband for a friend, because we will be putting it on your wrist on Saturday, and it must be worn until the show! And if you’re not from Toronto, you can win 1 of 3 trips to be here!

Other cool stuff: the concert will continue here on the site afterward for an extra half hour of tunage not to be broadcast (you can watch the first hour here too) OR if you have Rogers Vision, you can watch on your phone, too. You turkeys watching from the lot will be able to text your photos to a big screen, or vote for a song to be added to the setlist!

  9. Dude. I have three ‘questions’:

    1) It’s fun to toot your own horn sometimes, am I right?

    2) What just about everyone else asked: we don’t have to pay, right?

    3) If we don’t live in Toronto but we can get there without winning a contest, we can go, oui?

  10. can someone else get wristbands for us ?

would you be giving out wristbands later that day?

anndd do you need a wristband to watch the show? or will there be a section for people without wristbands :)
    ahha

  11. Dearest Jessica:

    1) Yes.

    2) Fa free!

    3) Yes.

  12. Dear smiley face:

I think they’ll be wristbanding people right away, so I don’t think someone else can stand in line for you! And it’s only 1 per person.

Not sure if the street will be open or closed to people (non wristbanders), either!

  13. WOW.

I hate everything because 1. I live 3 hours away from Tornto and can’t drive. and 2. I will be passing by Toronto THE DAY BEFORE BRACELETS

    DDDDDDDDDD’=

  15. That contest is a little bit racist eh!?

I mean I’m from QC and I can’t suscribe to it WHY!?

Is it like that for all of your contests?

Because you’re afraid we’re not Bilingual and cannot say “thank MuchMusic ” on TV SEriously, here everybody speaks english you should tell Leah Miller to learn how pronounce the names of SYTYCDC QC contestants correctly, maybe she’d be more respect by french Canadians NI-Côla Awtchemboooo

  16. Emmanuelle:

I’m pretty sure it’s not ’cause they’re racist.

First of all, it’s like that for a lot of contests in Canada.

Secondly, it’s because QC has specific rules and laws that must be followed in order for them to be entered into a contest, so I’m guessing people don’t wanna bother with that.
