Everyone loves Dallas Green. It’s rare that you will ever hear “I don’t like City and Colour”. When I was asked to go on set of his new music video for Fragile Bird of course I said yes! I remember back in 2006 when I first saw Dallas play a solo gig at the Embassy in London, Ontario and by that point I was already a huge fan of Alexisonfire. It was a given I would love the soothing voice and mellow tunes that Dallas had to offer the crowd. Ever since then I have been a huge City and Colour fan.

The set was… weird. I felt like I was going to catch that mysterious bird poop flu, the kind people get if they are swarmed by pigeons or eat after they’ve touched a pigeon (Avian influenza). Moving along, the set was interesting and roaming around the eerie abandoned hotel room was a trick of its own. There was one room that was full of dead animal bones and children’s toys (not planted). Can you say “CREEEEEPY?!” Regardless, I always love seeing the finished product after being on set and let me say this is one video I absolutely LOVE!

PS. How ironic are all the dead birds that were found on the set for Fragile Bird? Weird!
