Here are my top tracks of the week:
Bastille – What Would You Do (City High Cover)
Everyone remembers this song, it was HUGE! Now it’s put into an indie form and sung by a British artist Bastille… I’m in LOVE. Oh ps. If you don’t know Bastille yet, get to know his music. I highly recommend his song Flaws as well!
Florence + the Machine – Only if for a night
My favourite off the new album Ceremonials and can’t wait for the remixes of this one!
Marina + the Diamonds – Radioactive
I could totally hear Rihanna singing this track, perhaps Marina beat her to it!
Coldplay – Charlie Brown
My favourite track off of Mylo Xyloto.
Kelly Clarkson – What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger)
Produced by the talented Greg Kurstin this is a total anthem track.
The Joy Formidable – Whirring
Anytime this track comes on I love it and this week I finally purchased the rest of The Joy Formidable, great choice!
The Middle East- Blood
I just saw the movie Crazy, Stupid, Love and this is the closing song… beautiful!
Lum (ft. Burt Cummings) – So Down
This new Toronto unsigned artist is soooo good!
Lykke Li – Unchained Melody (The Righteous Brothers cover)
If you’ve seen the classic movie Ghost with Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze your heart will re-melt listening to this cover.
Oh Land – Bloodbuzz Ohio (The National cover)
One of my favourite songs by The National, and one of my current favourite artists, put them together and magic is formed.
