LMFAO Singer Suffers Back Injury, Postpones Last Three Shows

This is definitely not a laughing matter. Not that anyone of us would laugh at the fact the band behind hits like Party Rock Anthem and Sexy And I Know It is cancelling three of it’s shows do to injury.

LMFAO lead singer Sky Blue has suffered a back injury while on tour, and the band regretfully announced they’ve cancelled their last three shows as part of the Cherrytree Pop Alternative Canadian Tour.

“First off I would like to apologize to our fans,” said Sky Blu. “I am disappointed that I’m unable to come see everyone and perform. Unfortunately I need to take this time to get healthy and get my wiggle back.”

And believe me, he tried to honour the last three dates. Sky attempted to perform the remaining shows from a mobility chair but it didn’t go so well (a physician declared him unfit to perform and explained the severity of the injury). He’s been diagnosed with three herniated discs and was prescribed a full month of rehabilitation with no travel or performances.

The remaining Canadian tour dates in Calgary (Dec 20th), Edmonton (Dec 21st), and Vancouver (Dec 23rd) have been postponed until February of next year, exact dates to be announced. Live Nation will issue new dates and ticket information in the coming days.
