I’m proud and not at all embarrassed to say that Lolla 2010 was my very first experience with one of the most popular music festivals of all time. Okay, maybe just a little embarrassed.

Regardless, I LOVE Chicago and had an amazing time cover the eclectic array of musical talent, exploring Chi-towns wildlife (mostly bars and vintage shops with drunken festival goers).

I know you’re going to love our special, since we’ve basically put together a romantic, hilarious documentary of our experience in the Windy City that you will not soon forget.

Highlights: Watching beautiful performances by The xx, Lady Gaga, Grizzly Bear, Erykah Badu and Soundgarden, meeting and interviewing Erykah (she’s stunning), waiting for an hour to interview Perry Farrell, laughing my face off with Rusko, comparing workout and fashion tips with Semi-Precious Weapons, crashing Perez’s Chicago party, taking advantage of the free catering at the Spin Magazine’s tent, watching The Strokes, Arcade Fire AND doing about 25 interviews in two fun-filled days.

We’ve just recovered. Hope you enjoy the show and my sarcasm. Next time you take a road trip to Chi-town holla at your girl, because I’m in. Seriously, I’m in love.
