LTTGOE: Spitzer

Like most great electronica acts, Spitzer are:

a) from France (see also: Air, Justice, Daft Punk, M83)
b) a duo (see also: The Chemical Brothers, Plaid, Magnetophone, Mouse On Mars)
c) brothers (see also: Boards Of Canada)

I read about these guys on my most favourite music blog, I Guess I’m Floating, whose URL also happens to reference one of the most amazing M83 songs ever. So needless to say, I take Connor and Nathaniel’s recommendations pretty seriously. Despite IGIM’s likening of Spitzer to Justice, I don’t find the association to be THAT tight. I can definitely hear hints of Justice but also Metro Area and Daft Punk too.

Oh, and they “listen to any kind of music except Christian rock“. Ha!

Spitzer, aka Damien and Matthieu, are currently working on their debut four-track EP called Roller Coaster.
