Lukas: The Break Down

Remember the 90s when this young actor was being touted as the next big thing after being in Woody Allen’s musical disaster ‘Everyone Says I Love You’ and then in Tim Burton’s wickedly absurd yet hilarious film ‘Mars Attack’? And remember when it was rumoured that he was Natalie Portman’s first bf?

Well this actor has made his comeback – kind of – As some of you might not know, the lovely skeletal looking fella in My Chemical Romance’s video ‘Welcome To The Black Parade’ is one-time ‘It’ actor Lukas Haas. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww yes, Lukas Haas, a truly gifted and underrated actor whose stardom quickly fell into the cracks of Hollywood’s forgotten sidewalks much like other talented folk such as, Anna Paquin, Rachel-Leigh Cook, Nick Stahl and so forth. So why the eff am I talking about him? Well because I think his talents are going unnoticed and I’ve rekindled my love for this indie actor who most recently appeared in the film-noir ‘Brick.’ So if you may, please do enjoy my photo homage to this actor (who shockingly enough is actually 31!). Yes, he’s made some classic appearances in some of our fave videos.
