M. Ward “The First Time I Ran Away” (Video)

The past couple of years has seen M. Ward devote most of his time to playing Zooey Deschanel’s collaborator in She & Him. But the singer-songwriter is prepping a new album called A Wasteland Companion for release via Merge on April 10th. Check out “The First Time I Ran Away,” a multi-part clip directed by Joel Trussell and animated by Joel Moser, Marius Alecse, Gene Blakefield, Kelly Turnbull, Frank Macchia and Adam Scarpita.
