Madonna and Britney twirting up a storm

Like the coupling of twirting (twitter and flirting), can you imagine Madney? Or how about Britonna? We can. Over the weekend Madonna took to Twitter to celebrate her new release MDNA hitting number one on the Billboard charts with a fan driven Twitter Q&A. Britney Spears congratulated her Madgesty on a successful release to which Madonna replied with a request for a kiss.

In 2003, the pair teamed up with Christina Aguilera and Missy Elliot for a performance at the MTV VMAs, which ended with a kiss. This event was followed by a collaboration on Me Against the Music off Spears’ In The Zone album. We’re sure that the twirting is all in good fun as both Madonna and Britney are romantically linked to their respective partners, but if Britney wanted to kiss Madonna could she hold it against her?
