Madonna’s New Fragrance WON’T Smell Like Hydrangeas

Madonna may have tongues wagging with her reportedly “diva-like” behaviour at TIFF (recap: apparently she made volunteers turn around and face the wall while she walked into a room), she’s on our radar this week with news of a possible perfume launch.

The singer is apparently in talks with scent maker Coty to launch a signature fragrance sometime next year. Coty is the same company responsible for J. Lo and Beyonce’s line of perfumes, so they’ll definitely be able to create something amazing for Madonna.

Though she’s been a fashion icon for years Madonna hasn’t really put her name on a scent before. She did of course, have a song called “Candy Perfume Girl” back in the day. As for what her new fragrance will smell like, we’re thinking something strong and powerful, just like the woman behind it. One thing we’re sure it won’t smell like: hydrangeas .
