Amy Winehouse’s label may be expecting a new album by the end of the year, but musician and producer Mark Ronson says that she hasn’t entered the studio yet. “Amy hasn’t begun working on her next record yet. When she’s got 10 songs, we’ll go down to the studio together,” Ronson told the Daily Mail.
Ronson was also the producer of Winehouse’s 2006 Grammy winning album, Back to Black. The pair reportedly was in studio together in 2008 to record a theme to a Bond movie but things fell apart. They also have been in studio recently however to record a track for a Quincy Jones tribute album.
Winehouse made a surprise appearance at Ronson’s show in London on Tuesday and performed her song “Valerie” for the crowd.
