You would think after getting married, Adam Levine would want to take a break and enjoy his new wife? Nope. Adam and his band Maroon 5 are eager to dominate the airwaves with their new song It Was Always You.
The band continues with their electro-pop sound introduced in their other song Maps, by incorporating electronic synthesizers on the new track. The song definitely has some 80s vibes and will make you want to get up and dance. The song itself is about finally realizing someone is The One, and is basically the male version of a Taylor Swift song, except more dancey. Many people believe the song is an ode to Adam’s new wife Behati Prinsloo considering he references her hazel eyes. The new song is off the bands fifth album V out in September. Listen to the track below and be ready to add it to you party playlist.Tweet
