So I just got back from Mexico…the trip was dope! I mean, being in the sun for seven days was more than enough, not to mention that it was all inclusive! Leah and I were there shooting a beach show…Spring Break 08! We stayed at Oasis in Cancun …it was a good week and we met a lot of really cool people.

The highlight of the trip was probably going to sleep and waking up to an ocean breeze. Our hotel was literally right on the beach so every night I would open my sliding door to the sound of the ocean…which was basically music to my ears considering the weather we were having before I left!

Low point: the fact that although I was at an all-inclusive resort I essentially had to pay for drinks… because if you don’t tip you don’t get service…pretty !$^@#%&#$^& annoying.

There was also the random dude that walked in my room at about four in the morning, yes, some crazy, scary ass, grown man. He left as soon as he saw me. I guess I wasn’t exactly what he was looking for.

The trip was good all in all though. The shit that happens on foreign soil is just nuts. There are plenty of mothers that will be proud of their daughters’ showings on our spring break show! ;)

This weekend Canadian Music Week will be underway…I can’t wait for KRS-One Saturday night and Bobbie Digital this coming Sunday…I’ll let you know how the shows are!
