So I’ve been sick and off work the last couple of days…I think I got it on the plane coming back from Calgary. The re-circulated air is the worst…although the airlines claim there is constantly new air entering the cabin. I ended up getting some sort of bacterial infection…so much for being wolverine!

My doctor was actually telling me that flying dries out your nasal passages which makes you more susceptible to catching something…if you’re ever flying, use RHINARIS it’s this gel you put in your nasal passages, it keeps them moist and drastically decrease the chance of getting something on the plane.

The worst part about about being sick is I missed the Hot Chip show at the Phoenix on Wednesday night! A band from the UK – very entertaining guys…I’ve never seen them live but if their videos are any indication I’m sure they were great.

Hipster, as used in the 1940s, referred to aficionados of jazz, in particular modern jazz, which became popular in the early 40′s.
