You might know Matthew Fahey as Ricky Schwartz on Awkward. but do you know that he also has some loose lips when it comes to teasing Awkward. spoilers? Matthew recently sat down with The Hollywood Reporter and gave some clues about his character. “He’s going to be doing some running. He is kind of a weird runner,” Fahey observed, adding that Ricky will at one point act “girly.” Matthew explains, “He gets upset at a certain point and you’ll see him freak out.”

Matthew also mentions how much he wants Ricky to start hanging out with Matty and Jake. “I want to see Ricky interact with the guys, with Jake and Matty,” Fahey said. “I think they’re too cool [for him]; they’re on the soccer team. I think that Ricky should try out with them for one of the sports teams. Or maybe all of them and he fails at every single one.” We might even see more bare torsos in our future. Matthew pondered, “I guess I should start working on my abs.”
