MBF Hits the Road After Epic Show

Calgary’s Michael Bernard Fitzgerald is riding high after a massive hometown show that saw him take the stage with a live band of over 250 people.

Held at the Jack Singer Concert Hall last week, Fitzgerald (aka “MBF”) thrilled a sold-out crowd of 1700, melding his acoustic singer-songwriter charm with a marching band, choir, drum line, orchestra and even backup dancers. The show featured songs from his upcoming album YES (April 24) as well as previous material and covers of Robyn’s Call Your Girlfriend and Bruce Springsteen’s Dancing in The Dark.

His latest single Follow was just released on iTunes along with a video (directed by Christopher Troy Dowsett) that sees MBF and his friends pay homage to the 1991 movie Hook.
