Just got back from a lunch date with Geoff and we stopped by HMV on the way back – first of all, how can CDs be on sale for only $9, $10 or $11?! That’s illegally cheap. Not complaining at all though. I will gladly take the new Justin Timberlake, The Shins, k-os & Gwen Stefani albums for that price.

Second of all: I found myself grooving to a song playing over the speakers. Like, seriously dancing and wishing I were getting cozy with my friends at a club. I walked over to the two hipster kids working the cash (who were literally mirror images of each other – their lip piercings, haircut, tight t-shirt, etc.) and saw that the “now playing” was in fact Katharine McPhee’s new CD.

A quick Google search of the lyrics revealed that the song is called “Not Ur Girl“. It is sinfully wicked.

Acquire it and dance to it, immediately.
