Just got back from a lunch date with Geoff and we stopped by HMV on the way back - first of all, how can CDs be on sale for only $9, $10 or $11?! That’s illegally cheap. Not complaining at all though. I will gladly take the new Justin Timberlake, The Shins, k-os & Gwen Stefani albums for that price.
Second of all: I found myself grooving to a song playing over the speakers. Like, seriously dancing and wishing I were getting cozy with my friends at a club. I walked over to the two hipster kids working the cash (who were literally mirror images of each other - their lip piercings, haircut, tight t-shirt, etc.) and saw that the “now playing” was in fact Katharine McPhee’s new CD.
A quick Google search of the lyrics revealed that the song is called “Not Ur Girl“. It is sinfully wicked.
Acquire it and dance to it, immediately.

We were at the one right across from Much! So yes! Did you see me dancing?!
McPheel…LOL
Hah, I’m glad you approved my comment, wasn’t sure if that was inappropriate.
And unfortunately I wasn’t there at the time to see you dancing. I would have enjoyed that!
