The guys @ Vancouver V-Fest

I’ve got some good news, and I’ve got some bad even gooder news. To wit:

1. illScarlett will be coming to MOD on October 25. That’s next Thursday!
2. We’re busy that day, so we need somebody to interview them for us backstage!

If you want to be the jerk who gets to meet the guys, here’s what you gotta do:

i) Call 416-870-MUCH (6824) to book your wristband for October 25. Or, just come to 299 Queen St W and chill outside.
ii) Be here by 4pm!!
iii) Bring three questions that you’d like to ask the band!
iv) The person with the best, most original sign will get to interview the guys for MuchMusic.com (aka us), and the video will be posted on AXS! Bring your signs & merch to show us that you’re the ultimate fan!

Got it?? Get that tinker tank a-janglin’ and BE HERE on October 25th!

  4. Ill scarlett sucks balls, I should have tossed Tomatos at them when they would try to sell out the Masonic Lodge. They rip off Sublime so hard but the 12yr old girls keep buying into them, whats next keepin 6 turns into a boy band? this band is old news and should be tossed from there record lable for copyright infringement against bands like sublime and 311. If Alex was on Bradley knowles dick any harder he would be a condom.

    Ill scarlett fans need to listen up and relize this music has already been done

  7. Sean, ever hear of inspiration? I agree that Ill Scarlett comes from the same insporation as Sublime, and they probable owe alot of credit to Sublime for opening their doors..but thats it. They’re both sick bands in my oppinion. I’ve loved Sublime forever, and Ill Scarlett for about 4 years now too. Just bc a band is influenced by a great past band doesn’t mean they are ripping them off, if anything, it’s a compliment. Listen to some more of Ill Scarlett’s shit too before you say they sound the same. They’ve got alot thats way faster, and some thats way slower than Sublime. If anything, I’d say they’re reggae influenced, as was Sublime, so I guess you can hold that against them if you want. Also, ever hear of Slowcoaster? Grand Theft Bus? Are all of these bands Sublime ripoffs? No man, it’s a genre of music and it’s sweet so shut the fuck up.
