When Much and Coca-Cola put out a casting call looking for talented singers we expected big things from Canadians. Bieber? Shania? Drake? Celine? Arcade Fire? We’ve always known that this country was heavy on musical talent, but we were blown away by the inspiring submissions we received! Somehow we managed to narrow all the amazing submissions down to an incredible top ten! Today we aim the spotlight on Toronto, ON’s Marilyn!

If we asked your friends three words to described you they’d say… Funny, Eccentric, Wild….I’m kinda over the top sometimes, lol.

If you could have dinner with five people, living or dead, it would be… My grandfather, Tim Burton, Patrick Swayze, Michael Jackson, and You! Yes YOU!!!

Where would you Eat/Pray/Love? Can be anywhere in the world.
Eat: My Uncle Jimmy’s! Anything that man cooks is to die for!
Pray: My bedroom…so peaceful
Love: I can love anywhere, my heart has no boarders.

The first song I ever sang was…My own. I started singing when I was a baby. My mom says I would never stop and I was always singing my gibberish, lol. Actual song, however, the first one I can remember was ‘Beat it’ by Michael Jackson.

My style of singing is most like…I don’t think I sound like any ‘one’ person but I have been told I sound like a mixture of Hayley William, Christina Aguilera, and Lady Gaga (they have inspirational talent).

What could you live without for a month – car, internet or cell phone? Car. I’d find a way to make my sister drive me around, hahaha!

If you got to date a TV character who would it be? If I got to date a TV character it would probably be ‘Daymon Salvatore’ from Vampire Diaries, or Gossip Girl’s ‘Chuck Bass’.
