Bad 25, the 25th anniversary edition of Michael Jackson’s Bad album, was just released and to celebrate we got a little playlist going on with your name on it. Rolling Stone magazine did a piece on Bad and it noted the pressure that Jackson felt as he was creating the follow up to Thriller. It must be the same thing Carly Rae must be feeling after the monster hit of Call Me Maybe! In the article Rolling Stone quoted Bad collaborator Stevie Wonder commenting, “You can’t think about what people will like; you go crazy doing that. If it’s possible for him to sell 50 million records, let that happen. But if it doesn’t, it’s not the end of the world. It’s just records.” Bad was a Grammy Award winning record and we can’t imagine a world without a little Bad in it.
