Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth split

Say it ain’t so: Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are no more.

RadarOnline has confirmed that the couple have officially broken up through Hemsworth’s rep who issued a brief statement saying, “It’s true.”

The two met and began dating while filming The Last Song in August 2009. Back in June, they looked happy together at the MuchMusic Video Music Awards where Liam came to support Miley, who both performed and co-hosted. However, a source claims the two called it quits “pretty recently” and not long after Miley dropped $3.4 million on a new home only 100 feet away from her parents’ home.

No reason was given for the split, though Miley has been busy shooting the rom-com LOL: Laughing Out Loud in Michigan.
